The BioSculpt treatment works by using high-intensity focused electromagnetic energy (HIFEM) to stimulate powerful muscle contractions in targeted areas. A single 30-minute BioSculpt session causes thousands of these powerful muscle contractions which can significantly improve both muscle tone and strength. The strength of the muscle contractions can be adjusted suit to individual's goals and comfort levels. The BioSculpt treatment is recommended for those with a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 30 or under, and the resulting improvements in your musculature will be easier to see if you have a smaller amount of body fat. If you have a BMI higher than 30, or you have more fat or loose skin in the targeted area, then the BioSculpt+ treatment might be better for you. Since this treatment uses electromagnetic energy, you cannot use this sculpting method if you have a metal IUD, metal implant, or pacemaker. In addition, you must not have other types of electronic implants that are close to your target area, a history of seizures, or a medical condition that affects your heart. BioSculpt can help to treat certain medical conditions such as: diastasis recti; mechanical back, hip, and knee pain caused by muscle weakness, post fracture/injury muscle dystrophy, and peripheral neuropathy. BioSculpt can be used to tone and strengthen the abdomen, hips, quadriceps, calves and buttocks. A single BioSculpt session will take around 35 minutes including prep time, and generally a course of treatment will involve a minimum of 4 sessions scheduled 2-3 days apart. You can even lie down and relax during the treatment. BioSculpt treatments are non-invasive and requires no recovery time or any pre/post-treatment preparation. You begin to feel tangible results right after the treatment. Positive results are usually reported two to four weeks after the last session and continue to improve for several weeks following the treatments.
